This past Tuesday, October 13, AZIMA hosted its monthly meeting at the Tempe Mission Palms hotel in downtown Tempe, Arizona. The speaker, Bryan Eisenberg left us all buzzing after giving an insightful and informative presentation on the topic “Landing Page Optimization Tips to Improve ROI”. He spoke on the need for companies to be nimble and to have the ability to react quickly to information and events that can shift the focus of marketing in moments. Bryan used a screen grab from the original Amazon.com website and showed how subtle changes were made to increase conversion rates on one of their shopping cart pages. Amazon changed the words from “learn more” to “buy now” and this simple modification dramatically improved conversion rates. To further illustrate his point, he showed how changing a single image on the overstock.com website increased conversions by 400% for this 4 billion dollar company. How’s that for improving your bottom line!
